Bay Mustang Club was formed in the hopes of bringing area Mustang owners and enthusiasts together to inform the community of the enjoyment and value of owning, restoring, and driving America's first and favorite "Pony Car". The club was founded in 1988 by Don and Susan Sielke, who observed numerous Mustangs in the area and noted the lack of an organized club. After running an ad in the local paper, nine people responded and attended the first meeting. The club was born.
Bay Mustang Clubhas expanded tremendously since then, both in membership and community involvement. Owners and enthusiasts of Mustangs from all eras and styles (classic to modern, stock or modified) are encouraged to join the club. In fact, individuals don't even have to own a Mustang to join, they just need to have a love of all things Mustang.
Bay Mustang Club prides itself as one of the most active clubs in the Panama City area. We host cruise-ins and car shows, support local charities and our fellow area car clubs, cruise together to points of interest and car shows, and enjoy getting together just to have fellowship and a good time.
Bay Mustang Club was formally recognized by the Mustang Club of America as a Regional Group in June of 1998. The club is a charter member of the BC4 (Bay County Car Club Coalition), joining in January of 2006.
